Kinda Fast, Kinda Not

Kinda Fast is a weekly podcast from the team at Upward Running, created for runners of all paces—whether you’re chasing a PR or just proud you showed up. Hosted by Claire Boyce and joined by Travis Vaughn, the show blends honest conversations, practical advice, and a good dose of humor.

Each episode breaks down trending running topics, training terms, viral moments, and more—making running feel a little more relatable and a lot more fun. If you’ve ever felt kinda fast, kinda not, or kinda confused by what a fartlek is, this is your kind of podcast.

Tune in weekly wherever you listen to podcasts, or catch the video version on the Upward Running YouTube channel.

Couch to Marathon

The Cannonball Running Festival in Greensboro, NC, is a premier event offering a variety of race distances—5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon—to accommodate runners of all levels. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway and Country Park, it’s a beautiful and rewarding place to cross your finish line.

This race is part of the Upward Running Nationwide Challenge, and you’ll be joined by a community of like-minded individuals choosing to do hard things, deepen their faith, and finish what they started.

Choose your distance and join us. Whether you’re walking your first 5K or going all-in for 26.2, we’ll guide you step by step with training that meets you where you are.

While we encourage you to follow the training all the way through to the Cannonball finish line, you’re absolutely welcome to choose a different graduation race that works best for you. But if you do make it to Cannonball, you’ll be greeted by Upward Running coaches, celebrate with other members from around the country, and enjoy fun pre-race socials and community meetups.
